Jennifer Mo

Jennifer Mo has been vigorously expressing herself since age 2, when "no" was her favorite and most frequently used word. Two decades later, she still likes it, though if pressed at swordspoint she might admit that she now prefers sesquipedalian terms like "phantasmagorical" and, well, "sesquipedalian."

A former English major and current graduate student of children's literature, Jennifer enjoys reading fantasy and children's fiction, fairy tales, 19th-century British literature and a smattering of nonfiction in topics as diverse (and yet potentially related) as fashion history, poison and etiquette. When she is not reading, reviewing or studying, Jennifer enjoys sketching, talking to cats, writing what may eventually become a novel, costuming, scouring used bookstores and wondering exactly how one goes about swashbuckling.
