Robin Brenner is a twenty-something graduate of Bryn Mawr College who lives in Arlington, Mass., and works in nearby Lexington (yes, famous from the Revolutionary War and often associated with that other town, Concord). Her recent incarnations in the working world have included secretary and English tutor, although now she has found a home at Cary Memorial Library as a "floater" (which basically means she works anywhere and everywhere in the library) and is loving every minute of it. Although she misses the community, and yes, even the studying, at Bryn Mawr, she's nevertheless embraced her new position in life as a working, apartment-renting adult.

Aside from reading, listening to music, drinking way too much espresso and squeezing whatever creativity she can into her life -- be it some incarnation of fine art or writing -- she tends to enjoy most hanging out with her friends, watching admittedly too much TV and seeing as many movies as possible. As you can probably tell by her reviews, her interests range through the many genres of music, film and literature, from Nine Inch Nails to Loreena McKennitt, Quentin Tarantino to Billy Wilder, and William Gibson to Jeanette Winterson. She hopes you enjoy her reviews -- you can drop her an e-mail to let her know what you think.
