Barbara Spring is the author of four books: The Dynamic Great Lakes, a nonfiction book about the changing ecology of the Great Lakes; The Wilderness Within, a book of poetry and essays; Sophia's Lost & Found: Poems of Above & Below; and Between Sweetwater & Sand, a book of nature poetry. Due to her love of the natural world, she encourages people to find solutions to environmental problems. Her poetry is about the nature of nature in this world and worlds beyond.
