Debbie Koritsas lives in Yorkshire, England. She works in human resources, having earlier read French, Spanish and Portuguese at Birmingham University. Besides contributing to Rambles.NET, she writes for The Living Tradition Magazine and occasionally for Songlines Magazine and other outlets. She is mad about Celtic and European culture and enjoys the music, literature, language and cinema of many countries, especially the UK, France, Spain and Portugal. She has a strong interest in Celtic music, the Gaelic song of the Scottish Western Isles, the structures of jazz and the craft of the singer-songwriter. She also has a growing enthusiasm for world music -- particularly Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Asian and Latin American. She has many other interests, including helping with her local arts/music festival, photography and enjoying nature/wildlife. |
