Jennifer Hanson occupies as much of her free time as possible by birding and watching dragonflies. She has been published in The Chronicle of the Horse, Birding and Records of New Jersey Birds (now New Jersey Birds); she also used to draw comic books for her friends during her misspent youth. Her stack of unfinished novel manuscripts is locked in a trunk in her closet, sharing space with a stegosaurus and a balalaika (among other things). Her music collection ranges from Garth Brooks to Philip Glass, and it fights her library for the precious and ever-dwindling commodity of shelf space.
