Sabrina & Craig,
Green
(independent, 2015)

Their growing legion of fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of Sabrina & Craig's second full-length album. In this listener's opinion, it was worth the wait. Green is a worthy follow up to the duo's popular One Home, One Heart.

Green features 11 tracks, all written by either Sabrina Schneppat or Craig Lincoln, in a variety of musical styles, presented with rich vocals and stellar instrumentation.

The variety offers something to suit almost any musical taste. Some personal favorites include the lush and beautiful title track, the haunting "Lark" and the romantic torch song, "Dreaming of You." Oh, and I must not forget the instrumental, "Crawdad," which should please any blues fan.

Their luscious vocal harmonies are complemented by Craig's award-winning fingerstyle guitar backed by Sabrina's bass and ukulele.

Backup is provided by Steve Postell, dobro, guitar and banjo; Steve DiStanislao and Craig Macintyre, drums; Jon Ossman, bass; Luke Halpin, mandolin; Dan Levitt, banjo; Bob McChesney, trombone; Jessy Greene, five-string violin; Dino Soldo, clarinet; Ramon Yslas, percussion; and Peter Adams, keyboard, piano and accordion.

Sabrina has been honing her vocal talents since age 6 and Craig has been playing guitar since he was 14. They haven't been idle since debuting that first full-length album five years ago. In the interim, they've been featured on NPR, won competitions in both singing and fingerstyle guitar and gained recognition for their songwriting. They've also been playing festivals, concerts and venues across the U.S.

Getting back to the fan-base, it's worth mentioning the album had the support of a crowd-funding campaign.
