An incurable bibliophile, she neither has too many books, nor sufficient bookshelves! Her favourite authors are Guy Gavriel Kay and Charles de Lint, but she also regularly loses herself in Deverry, Midkemia and Discworld. Historical fiction, action-thrillers and poetry jostle for space beside reference tomes on anatomy, alternative therapy, language and natural history. Of Scots-Irish blood, she is particularly interested in Celtic culture and also ancient British and Spanish history. She hopes to see the sights of ancient Egypt some day. A musical omnivore, Jenny enjoys everything from Abba to ZZ Top; Glen Miller, Elvis, Mozart, Queen, Dinah Washington -- few styles are unpalatable. You can visit her here. |

Jenny Ivor has been reading avidly and writing creatively since the age of 3. While studying for her finals as a therapist, she began Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern and, despite a burgeoning addiction for fantasy, she still managed to graduate with distinction! Now at leisure, she indulges in computer-aided time-travel: designing cards, compiling her poetry, continuing international e-correspondence and wondering where the day has gone....
