Valerie Estelle Frankel wrote her first novel at age 16, although she's been a storyteller since she was 5 or so. Currently, she's earning her master's in creative writing. She has been editor for four college magazines, but reserves her first love for her fantasy world of Calithwain. Valerie is submitting her latest novels to publishers at the moment. Her work has appeared in the anthology Legends of the Pendragon, as well as Strange Horizons, Jewish Community News, Zealot, Spellbound, SF Reader, Marsdust and other magazines.
